Co-owners (and sisters) Sadie Dawson and Kelly Dawson are event specialists
located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Kelly is a non-profit professional specializing in wedding planning, as well as fundraising events for higher education, the arts and social justice causes. Kelly has executed events across the US, Mexico and in Amsterdam.  She currently works at California College of the Arts (CCA) where she is spearheading the College's new Auxiliary Services Division. For the past 6 years Kelly planned and executed fundraising events for the college, where she raised over 4.5M for student scholarships through an annual gala for some of San Francisco's most notable architects and designers.   Kelly is known for her calm demeanor in the most stressful event situations. She is also an avid chef and baker, enjoys camping, hiking, and swimming.
Sadie is a corporate finance professional with a passion for culinary arts. She is currently the Managing Associate for Public Financial Management (PFM) where she is responsible for west coast branch operations and events. Sadie brings years of experience in commercial real-estate and the food and wine industry. Sadie has a knack for culinary tourism (specifically in California, France, Argentina & Uruguay), meeting management and corporate parties. Sadie is known for her cooking skills, creative decor aesthetic, humor, and her straight forward approach. She has a Boston Terrier named Charlie-Murphy and is the president of a monthly dining club for friends.
Sadie and Kelly have planned parties, weddings, and celebrations for friends, family & colleagues since their early 20s. After Kelly moved to Oakland in 2006, they soon realized that pooling their talents and resources could be the roots of a boutique event company. If you are curious about the name; "Marché" translates to "market" in French  (the sisters have an affinity for all things french) and structured their business to offer a market of services in the hospitality industry.  "51" is a tribute to their Mother, Jo Anne, the ultimate event hostess/party planner and the one responsible for many of their inherent creative and planner traits.
